Oh boy, does anyone else feel like it should be at least Wednesday? If you read this post from Sunday, you’ll remember I wrote about getting ahead of your Monday blues with tips and tricks to help make the beginning of the week feel a little less, blah.
So that’s all fine and dandy, I got a good night’s sleep on Sunday night, did a short Monday morning workout, had on a cute outfit, and then I get to work, pull my heels out of my bag to put on for the day, and saw this…
Oh, Monday, you got me again. The good news is I did manage to dress myself like an adult today, so…there’s that.
Anyway! After I wore these Fabletics pants during my half marathon 2 weekends ago, I got questions from a few of you about how the company works, so I thought I’d share my experience so far!
If you’re like me, you can always use new workout clothes, so after seeing a Fabletics ad on Facebook, I decided to check it out.
Fabletics is basically an online athletic clothing shopping club. As a VIP Member you are enrolled in a monthly program after your first purchase. Stylists will send you a virtual preview of outfit selections for upcoming month (based on a short quiz you take), and you’ll have the option to purchase anything you like.
You can review your outfits by a set deadline and decide to “opt out” of that month. If you don’t purchase anything but also don’t opt out by the deadline, you’ll be charged $49.95 for that month. However, it doesn’t mean you have to purchase anything on the spot, you can accumulate a balance and purchase whenever something strikes your fancy.
I was hooked because they gave me a serious discount for my first purchase. I chose these workout pants and a plum colored long sleeve top. My subtotal was $59.95 – but with the discount, I received both of these for a total of $17.99! Yes please!
I have yet to wear the shirt, although I did try it on and found it super soft and cozy. The pants were fantastic as well, very stretchy without being too tight. My half marathon was the first time I wore them, and that could have been a very poor decision, but they were just as (if not more) comfortable than any other pair I own!
We’ll see what my future with Fabletics is. I think I will skip October, just because I don’t need anything else at the moment, but that doesn’t mean I won’t “window shop” for future months!
Buying new clothes means I have no excuses to skip my workouts right? Here’s a fun workout to help get you through the day!
How About You?
Have you tried Fabletics or any other online shopping club? What was your experience?
If I were younger I would go for the fabletics…instead I will try the 15 minute booty workout only!

Love the Fabletics review! I’ve been debating about starting a membership for months now. I always forget to skip months on subscription services, so I’ve been hesitant! Thanks for sharing your experience!!

Hope it was helpful! We’ll see what the next few months have to bring (I have a reminder in my calendar now to opt out of October!) But let me know if you end up trying it out 🙂
