Fall Favorites!

Well, Fall has officially fallen here in New York. I was freezing all weekend, but it is a perfect excuse to throw on a sweatshirt, cuddle up under a blanket, and light an apple or harvest scented candle. All of that makes it very difficult to leave the house, however.

I’m trying to take full advantage of this weather, I was getting seriously sick of the summer heat and the bitter winter will be here before we all know it. (Although Christmas can’t get here soon enough!)

So what am I doing to prepare for fall? Well, first I ordered a new Quilted Jacket from J.Crew Factory that should be arriving this week!

I have also been dying to try this recipe from skinnytaste.com for Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites!love chicken wings, but unfortunately it’s not a good idea to eat them every weekend. I’m planning on whipping up a batch of these bites next Sunday while football is on (with globs of blue cheese on the side, obviously) – stay tuned!

Because I live in the middle of Manhattan, I sometimes forget to take advantage of nature and all the fall foliage. That’s silly because, hello…Central Park. Last October my mom came to visit for the day, and we ended up spending the afternoon walking through the park and it was beautiful! I literally have no excuse not to do this again.

Apple Cider. I need to get some, so this is just more of a reminder for me to put it on my grocery list. I usually prefer drinking it cold, but that’s not to say I won’t give a hot mug of a it a whirl if it’s offered.
