Whenever I say “TGIF”, I always have flashbacks to Friday nights in the 90’s when these gems were on TV. Sigh, those were the days, man! Fortunately I could still find most of these on cable from time to time (and still watch them when I do), but I do miss unwinding those Friday nights after a “stressful” week in elementary school.
Here are some of my other faves this week!
If you’re anything like me, you use Pinterest to look up recipes, home decorating tips, and outfit inspirations. Of course I wish my Pinterest closet was my real-life closet, but I also use my clothing boards to try to inspire my existing wardrobe.
One of my favorite looks this season is a classic black dress, knee high boots, and a plaid scarf. I ❤ plaid and need to start experimenting with these blanket scarves that are all the rage!
One of my absolute favorite cold-weather recipes to make is pulled pork in the crockpot – it is such an easy and delicious dinner! I threw all the ingredients together yesterday morning before leaving for work and when I got home, the apartment smelled heavenly.
I’ll share the recipe on the blog soon (stay tuned!), but these sandwiches with a side of oven roasted brussels sprouts deserved a shout out this week!
I Love Lucy
One thing about me is that I love old TV shows. I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch, The Honeymooners, The Dick Van Dyke Show, just to name a few. Well, guess what I found out this week friends, the I Love Lucy Christmas special this year is going to be in color!
It’s planned to air on CBS, December 23rd at 8pm, so mark your calendars for “The Christmas Episode” and “Lucy Does a TV Commercial” in technicolor!
nutella banana oatmeal
I decided to get a little fancy with my oatmeal this week and add some Nutella, because when is Nutella ever a bad idea? It was also really easy!
I hope you all have a great weekend! We’re looking forward to our friends’ wedding this Sunday, watch out for my Rent the Runway review next week, the dress is scheduled to arrive today, eeee! 🙂
