How have your winter workouts been going? I always struggle with motivation on these chilly, dreary winter days but I’ve been trying to keep up a schedule.
Here’s a little look into what my routine has looked like this past week:
Monday 1/11 – Off (because Monday. I know, I know, “never skip a Monday” but sometimes it happens.)
Tuesday 1/12 – Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
Wednesday 1/13 – Elliptical for 30 minutes
Thursday 1/14 – Nike Training Club?? (I honestly can’t remember what I did on Thursday! I wrote down “strength training” in my calendar so I think I did a workout from the Nike Training Club app, but I might have skipped.)
Friday 1/15 – Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
Sunday 1/17 – Off
Clearly I’ve put running on the back burner and have focused more on circuit workouts lately, but that’s okay. Working out needs to be fun on those days you’re tempted to just skip and throw in the towel. And if that means hopping on the elliptical for 30 minutes while watching The Office on Netflix after a long day of work, that’s what it’s going to be.
