Good Morning friends!
Whew, I feel like this week is flying by, which is a good thing, but I feel like I’m so far behind on blog stuff. Thank goodness the weekend is right around the corner!
Given my scattered nature this week, I thought today was the perfect time to participate in Running with Spoons’ Thinking Out Loud challenge. The purpose of these posts is a chance to share random musings, silly thoughts, and things that make you laugh.
So here is what’s been going through my mind as I sat down to write this post!
Veggies and Ice Cream for Dinner
Last night AJ had dinner plans out so I took advantage of the opportunity to not cook and basically just snack for dinner. After work and the gym, all I wanted to do was to sit down with something easy and turn on some Netflix. Mission accomplished.
We got tickets to go see La Bohème in April! I’ve never been to an opera before and I’m not sure if I’ll love it or hate it, but I’m excited to find out!
3 Treadmill Miles
I’ve really taken a break from running lately. Sure I’ve been doing my Jillian Michaels and Nike Training Club workouts, and occasionally fitting the elliptical in, but running? Not so much. Given the two feet of snow outside, the treadmill it is. But, you know what? It felt really good! I’m glad to start getting back into the running groove.
This treadmill routine from Iowa Girl Eats is one of my favorites, and what I did last night.
AJ and I are planning a trip to New Orleans in March for our one year anniversary. I’ve never been, but I keep hearing such great things about the city so I cannot wait!

My sister posted this picture on Instagram recently and I cracked up laughing. This just about sums up life, don’t you think? It’s all about finding that balance and moderation.
