Happy Thursday people! I’ve been a little scattered for some reason this week, so I thought today would be the perfect opportunity to link up with Running with Spoons for another iteration of Thinking Out Loud! This post is about my random thoughts, musings, and goings on this week. 🙂
Slacker (+ a new 4 Mile Treadmill Run)
I’ve been slacking on my blogging this week. Sorry guys! I had every intention to post a workout on Tuesday or Wednesday, but I just didn’t have the time or energy to get around to it.
The good news is, I’ve been really diligent with my workouts lately. And by really diligent, I mean I totally skipped Wednesday’s planned workout out of pure laziness. It happens! No, but seriously, I have actually been getting in more consistent runs and it feels great! 7 miles outside this weekend.

Foot Issues and Pantyliners
Note to self, do not do a lot of walking around in shoes you haven’t worn since last summer. On Easter Sunday I wore a pair of my favorite shoes around town and got a few bruises on my toes and ankle, my one toe in particular was especially beat up.
Fast forward to Wednesday morning when I’m walking down my building’s stairs and I’m thinking, “Why is my foot wet? Does the garbage bag I’m carrying have a leak?” When I got to the bottom I noticed my foot, and shoe, was covered in blood! Apparently my toe started to bleed and of course I noticed this when I was already outside…and when you live in a 4th floor walk up, you do everything you can to avoid unnecessary trips up and down.
So…being the resourceful girl that I am, I found a pantyliner in my purse and tried to clean up my foot that way. THAT MAKES SENSE GUYS, RIGHT?! Well…unfortunately that didn’t really work, so after another trek back up the stairs to properly clean and bandage up I was finally on my way to work…late of course.

Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets
When AJ’s away, I apparently turn into a child with my eating habits. Dinner on Tuesday night consisted of pasta shells and dino chicken nuggets. Topped off with nutella straight of the the jar. #ThirtyGoingOnThree
Do you ever make yourself a salad and then midway through just get totally grossed out? I made a pretty standard salad on Monday of spinach, mozzarella, chicken, avocado, pepitas, and olive oil. Halfway through lunch I was completely over it, and had to stop eating. I don’t know if it was the cold chicken or the spinach or what, but I had enough! Thank goodness there was some Magnolia Bakery Banana Pudding floating around the office for me to round out my lunch.
How true is this? I have a haircut and highlights coming up, thankfully, because I feel like it’s been so blah lately. I wish I could hire someone to do my hair every day. Whenever I get my hair done, my stylist is always like, “I just love your hair!” And I’m sitting here thinking, “Well that’s funny because it tends to play opposite day whenever I try to do something with it.” I think this is just motivation to break out my curling wand again and start getting better at that. In the meantime, my hair is full of dry shampoo and a top pony tail today.
