Happy Wednesday friends! I wanted to talk a little about my workouts lately. I have the Philly Broad Street 10-miler coming up on May 1, so I’ve been trying to be consistent with my runs. I can’t believe this will be my fifth time running this race!
Having a race coming up is always good motivation to keep up my runs because I know it’ll just be easier and I’ll feel better overall if I’m prepared.
Here’s a look at my plan this week:
Monday – Run 5 miles
The weather was really crappy out on Monday, so I was relegated to the treadmill. I’m going to be honest, I hated every minute of it up until minute 48 when I started to cool down. That’s when I felt super accomplished and proud of myself for pushing through!
Tuesday – Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
Wednesday – Run 3 miles; 15 Minute Arm & Shoulder Workout
Thursday – Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
Friday – 15 Minute Arm & Shoulder Workout
Saturday/Sunday – 5 mile run outside on one of these days!
What else has been going on over here? To be honest, not a whole lot. Between work, finally working on our taxes, errands, and fitting in these workouts, my days have been pretty full.
We do have a friend’s wedding coming up on Friday, so I am looking forward to getting dressed up for a night out! Stay tuned for another Rent the Runway review coming your way next week 🙂

What an awesome week of workouts! I love running outside and find it hard to keep going while on a treadmill but I will definitely be trying the 5.2 run you put up!!
